For the best “hands off” streaming experience we recommend you have a few items to give your viewers the highest quality live stream possible. For example:

• Baseball/Softball: You will want to mount your camera to the outside of a baseball/softball backstop so the lens is stable and centered between the diamond fence opening.

• For basketball, tennis or volleyball you may want to mount your camera on a standard tripod or use an extra tall extension tripod to get an even better view.

• If you are at a location that doesn’t have a power outlet, you may require a power bank to keep your devices charging throughout your event.

• When using a phone, you can also experiment with wide angle lens attachments to capture the right amount of the field or court depending on how far away from the action your camera is.

If you plan to use your phone you can get a very solid and flexible mount (like the image to the right).

If you prefer not to have your expensive phone tied up during games, add the hi quality, yet very affordable Yi4K Action camera. You may also use the GoPro Hero 7, a simple iPod or even an old iPhone (with no sim card) as the broadcasting camera.

Other items that are helpful are a power bank (you may already have) to keep your camera device charged throughout the day of streaming and some type of bag or pouch with a hook/clip that you can store your power bank and/or external data hotspot if you use one.
